Día de los Muertos Festival — Olvera Street

What to expect

Olvera Street’s nine-day Día de los Muertos festival, celebrated by its merchants for nearly 40 years: community altars, Teatro del Barrio’s La Danza de la Muerte nightly at 6pm, and the nightly Novenario procession with Aztec dancers and “living muertos” leading to a ceremony at the Kiosko, plus free pan dulce and drinks.
