Terms of Use
Last updated: September 24, 2026
socalspooky.com ("SoCal Spooky," "we," "us") is run by Bazan Worldwide, Inc., a California corporation. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
We're a directory, not the event
We list Halloween and spooky events across Southern California. We don't run, own, inspect or endorse any of them, and we don't sell tickets. Dates, hours, prices, age guidance and scare-level labels come from public sources and hosts, and they can change or be wrong. Always check with the host before you go. Our age and intensity labels are a general guide, not a safety rating.
Your visit is your call
Haunted attractions can involve darkness, loud noises, strobe lights, fog, uneven ground and actors who get close. Your visit is between you and the host, so follow their rules and decide what's right for you and your kids. Many listings are private homes: stick to posted hours, respect the neighbors and the property, and don't go past what the host has opened to visitors.
Links to other sites
We link to host websites, ticket pages, social media accounts and maps. Those sites aren't ours and have their own terms and privacy policies. We're not responsible for their content, sales or service. Maps are provided by Google and subject to Google's terms.
Sending us a listing
Listings are free. If you email us a listing, you confirm the details are accurate and that you have the right to share them, including any photos or artwork. You let us publish, edit, format and display that listing on the site, free of charge, for as long as we run it. Only send a home address if it's your home or the owner has agreed. We may edit, decline or remove any listing at any time. Want a listing changed or removed? Email [email protected].
Featured placements
Hosts can pay for a featured spot. Featured listings are labeled on the site. We agree on the dates, placement and price with you by email before anything runs. A featured spot buys promoted space for those dates. It doesn't guarantee a certain number of visitors, clicks, ticket sales or search rankings. We can decline any ad we think is misleading, unsafe or not a fit. If we can't run a placement you've paid for, we'll refund the unused portion. You're responsible for the accuracy of your own ad and event details.
Our content
The site's design, artwork, text and the way we've compiled the listings belong to us or the people we license from. You're welcome to use the site for your own planning and to share links. Please don't scrape, copy or republish the directory, or any large part of it, without written permission. Event names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners, and mentioning them doesn't mean they're affiliated with us.
Copyright concerns
If you think something on the site uses your work without permission, email [email protected] with the page link and what you believe is infringing. We'll review it and remove it where appropriate.
No warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We try to keep it accurate and running, but we don't promise it will be error-free, complete, current or always available.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for anything that happens at an event or property listed on the site. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Your responsibility
If you send us a listing or buy a featured placement, you agree to cover any claims, costs or damages that come from your content or from breaking these terms.
California law
These terms are governed by California law. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless it qualifies for small claims court.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it.
