Ojai · Yard Haunts · All ages
The Ellison family’s free, classic walk-through yard haunt in Ojai: it starts on the Manor’s front porch and winds through the yard to the graveyard. More whimsical than gory. The front display is lit nightly Oct. 13–31 from 6 to 10pm; please walk or carpool on Halloween.
An after-dark walk through downtown Ojai’s ghost stories with ghost hunter and author Richard Senate: the man on the tower, the sobbing girl of Libbey Park, the Arcade specter woman, and “Eddie” at the old cement jail. Flashlights and closed-toe shoes required; register in advance with Ojai Rec.
